An exclusive guided tour of Hampshire’s outstanding vineyards is departing Winchester on Friday 3rd August. Hosted by Joel Eastman of Grape & Grain Tours, the tour will see guests visiting Hattingley Valley Wines; Raimes English Sparkling; Cottonworth; and Danebury Vineyard for a private vineyard tour with tasting. A two-course gastropub lunch rounds off the experience.
Joel has worked in the drinks industry for most of his life in the UK and Australia and launched Grape & Grain Tours to help more people experience the countryside and incredible produce that his adopted home has to offer.
“Let us be your designated driver while you enjoy a range of award-winning English sparkling and still wines made with skill and passion while I tell you about the history of winemaking in the region and the secrets behind its current success,” says Joel.
The tour departs from Winchester Train Station at 0945 and will return by 1700. The coach has ample space for purchases made at the vineyards. Tickets are £70 per person and are available from grapeandgraintours.co.uk
